How to Use the AI Metadata Generator
  1. Enter Your API Key: In the API Key section, paste your Gemini API key. You can get one from Google MakerSuite. This powers our AI metadata generator to create SEO tags for your stock photos and videos.
  2. Configure Settings: In the Settings section, adjust the sliders for Max Title Length (1–200 characters, default 70) and Max Keywords (1–100, default 50). Choose a Metadata Format from the dropdown (e.g., Adobe Stock, Shutterstock, Canva) to tailor your stock photo metadata. Note: Adobe Stock limits titles to 70 characters.
  3. Upload Files: In the Upload Files section, click or drag-and-drop up to 500 files (JPG, PNG, SVG, GIF, MP4, MOV, max 50MB each). You’ll see thumbnails of your stock images or videos. This bulk metadata tool supports multiple formats for flexibility.
  4. Generate Metadata: Click the Generate Metadata button in the Actions section. The AI will analyze each file and create SEO-optimized metadata, including titles, descriptions, and keywords tailored to your chosen platform. Watch the progress circle in the Processing section.
  5. View Results: Once complete, the Results section displays a table with filenames and titles. Click a row to see detailed metadata or use the JSON View tab for raw data. Copy metadata to your clipboard using the copy icon for easy use in your stock image metadata workflow.
  6. Download CSV: In the Results section, click Download CSV to export metadata as a CSV file. Open it in Excel or a text editor to review or upload to platforms like Adobe Stock or Shutterstock. The CSV includes a NewFilename column for renaming.
  7. Rename Files: Click Rename Files to rename your files based on the NewFilename column. On Chrome/Edge (HTTPS required), select a folder to rename files automatically. Otherwise, use the provided Python script to rename files manually, ensuring your stock photos align with SEO tags.
  8. Switch Themes: Toggle between dark and light modes using the sun/moon icon in the header. This saves your preference for a comfortable experience while using the bulk metadata tool.
  9. Clear Results: Click Clear Results in the Actions section to reset everything and start fresh with new files or settings.
